About Sofia Vykhrystyuk

I started my journey in 2014 as a QA engineer and I have worked as such for about 4 years. For all that time I’ve done desktop / web / mobile testing, API testing and test automation. The more I grew in test automation the more I wanted to try myself as a software developer. So I've started continuously studying iOS Development with Swift (pet projects, open source) in my spare time. In August 2018 I got my first job as an iOS developer in Clever Pumpkin. I’ve worked on sports.ru projects with Objective-C+Swift code base. After a year I decided to move forward and became iOS developer in YooMoney (ex. Yandex.Money). After 2 years of working in the company, I became a senior iOS developer. I enjoy working with a team, discussing and solving challenges. I’m in love with iOS development - it’s both my work and hobby. I often learn something new in software development. And to keep on iOS and tech news I read articles, listen to podcasts, visit conferences and meetups. In winter I usually go somewhere for snowboarding for a couple of weeks. I prefer to spend my evenings in dance classes. Also on every vacation I prefer to travel somewhere.
