About Sofie e Munteanu

I want to make a difference in the world - enhancing health of people and planet. I have worked towards greater health for all, in various roles with companies like Johnson & Johnson and Mölnlycke Health Care. But, without planet no people, and my current position at the Society for Nature Conservation allows me to work towards a sustainable future on a healthy and living planet. My chosen career path has not always been linear and obvious, e.g moving from Procurement Leader to Global Marketing to Sustainability Leader, but I follow the path that allows me to use my skills and my passion to make the biggest impact but that also allows me to continuously develop, myself, organizations and teams. I can create order out of chaos (to the extent that family vacation plans are done in Excel) and I love working in complex environments where I thrive on making diverse teams with different agendas run towards one common goal. My biggest strength is combining my soft skills, being a passionate leader that loves to help people develop, with my commercial and strategic skills, to develop organizations - with heart. My biggest weakness is my two kids, where my normally excellent negotiation skills tend to fail.
