About Sofie Olson

My equestrian trainer once told me to "control the controllable." Since then I have chosen to focus my energy on controlling the things I can and through that, adapting and creating a sense of empowerment in my life. I am a goal-oriented, adaptable senior at Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, merging my passions for real estate, urban design, and geography. Through my education, my focus is on personal and professional growth and developing transferable skills. As a rising undergrad entering the business world, I am primarily focused on the controllable, and performing optimally under any circumstances. I am passionate and devoted to all things school related and beyond. Specifically, I am involved with the Equestrian Team as not only a competitor but the Vice President. My goal is to secure a position in a respected organization and expand my knowledge while making a significant contribution to the company's success. Broadly speaking, my target audience is hiring managers and recruiters at real estate and urban planning firms. Currently, I am seeking an internship for this upcoming summer in Denver, CO.
