Writing service With SopluTekst, I provide writing services in the broad sense of the word. As a copywriter, I write new texts based on the information provided by my client. I also rewrite existing texts so that they become well-structured and pleasant to read. Do you just need a spelling and language check? Translation service As a copywriter, I sometimes call myself a 'Dutch-Dutch translator', because I convert the story my client can tell so beautifully into a well-written text in Dutch. However, I can also do the same job with an English or German text! Translation is a profession in its own right, because it involves skills that are less important in copywriting, such as working with translation software and consulting the right sources for translation (unfortunately, a dictionary is usually not enough). Translation, however, is also and above all: writing. This is where my writing skills come in very handy. Even in translation work from English to Dutch, I specialise in smoothly readable texts. I provide translations from English to Dutch, German to Dutch, German to English and Dutch to English. Client, medium, reader In both copywriting and translation, I pay attention to three important components in the writing process: the client, the medium and the reader. In the texts I write or translate, I always try to reflect the character of the client (person or company). My aim is to produce a text that makes the client feel like he/she could have written it themselves. The medium might be a website, a brochure, manual or blog, for example. It is important to take this into account, because for a manual, the tone is very different from a blog. Finally, the reader. For me, this is the most important player! Therefore, with every assignment I ask the question: who is going to read this? What is the reading level, how much knowledge does the reader have on the subject?
