Since my PhD, I have been optimizing the analysis of flow cytometry data by developing suitable machine learning algorithms. To improve the traditional manual analysis, I work on visualization techniques, unsupervised learning techniques for clustering, and supervised learning techniques for classification or regression. In the last few years, the importance of data quality control has become more and more apparent, leading to a strong focus on algorithm development for QC and normalization as well.
