About Sofie Willox

Sofie Willox is a learning and development expert who translates insights from learning science into down-to-earth approaches that work. She does this as keynote speaker, facilitator, advisor and interim manager. She has a smooth, light-hearted style and does so creatively and with the necessary humor so that everyone feels relaxed. In 2023, she was nominated for the L&D thought leader 2023 award in the Netherlands. Sofie has been a permanent editor and journalist at the Belgian journal ‘HR Magazine’ for many years, where she writes about trends and insights in learning. She is also an advisory board member and guest author at TVOO Magazine, a Dutch magazine on learning. Since 2016 she is a delegation leader for the Belgian-Dutch learning leaders at ATD ICE, the largest talent development conference in the USA. With more than 20 years of experience in building towards a successful learning culture in organisations, designing impactful learning solutions, coaching, mentoring, facilitating & training groups, Sofie engages both strategically and operationally. Because ultimately, words must be turned into action. Besides giving keynotes, she is a regular vlogger. Collaboration can take different ways, she is flexible about that. Some clients choose to work together with her for months on a project or strategic topic. Others are helped by a short but powerful collaboration of 1 day.
