About Sofiya Goncharova

Possible summary: As the Head of Communications & Public Affairs at GSIC powered by Microsoft, I lead the communication strategy and execution for the global hub that connects sports entities, academia, and the industry. I manage the creation and dissemination of engaging content, such as articles, podcasts, newsletters, and social media posts, to showcase the innovative solutions and projects that GSIC supports and promotes. I also organize and coordinate high-profile events and summits, such as the GSIC Sports Summit, where I facilitate the participation and collaboration of key stakeholders, speakers, sponsors, and media partners. With a Master Degree in Event Protocol, Organization, Production and Design from Camilo José Cela University, and a Degree in Film, Television and Media Communication from Universidad Carlos de Madrid, I have the skills and knowledge to design and deliver impactful and memorable experiences for the sports innovation community. My goal is to contribute to the growth and development of the sports sector, and to foster a culture of excellence, diversity, and innovation at GSIC.
