About Sofya Suidasari

I’m Sofya, a Project Director at Intralink, a business development consultancy supporting international companies to grow their business in Japan. At Intralink, I have worked on projects across a wide range of life science and healthcare fields, including structure-based drug discovery services, biosensors for point-of-care applications, cell-cultured food ingredients, microalgae-based food and cosmetic ingredients, and medical-grade gelatin for medical devices and regenerative medicine. I completed my bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees at Hiroshima University, where my academic background focused on molecular nutraceuticals. Originally from Indonesia, I have been living in Japan for the past 20 years. During this time, I have worked across various sectors within Japanese companies, including basic and applied research, product development and manufacturing, as well as international business development.
