WHAT DRIVES ME? I thrive on spreading joy by creating products that are impactful, innovative and meaningful. I have a track record of solving social, environmental, and, most importantly, consumer issues in the CPG industry. Leading development and branding of purposeful consumer goods is the driving force behind my career path. In addition, I am a tech-savvy individual who loves adopting emerging technologies and has been at the forefront of digital transformation initiatives at Unilever. WHAT I BRING TO TABLE? My experience in CPG seeded my passion for brand management. My work experience, along with my MBA (specialisation in Marketing and Sales with an additional focus on strategy and digital transformation), renders me with skills important for a brand management role in the CPG world and beyond. I have collaborated with various functional teams at Unilever to develop formulations, claims, packaging and other aspects of a consumer product. With an engineering background, I have a knack to logically and numerically solve societal concerns. I put myself in the shoes of consumers and analyze data to solve their most pressing concerns. From the unique wrist-movements that African women use to wash their clothes to how a simple fragrance moulds consumer psychology and buying decisions, I try understanding the human elements that matter most to consumers. I cherish relationships and leverage them to meet the collective goals. My style of work blends the serious stuff with light-heartedness. I think humor is a great connector of people and is the key to create and maintain life-long friendships.
