About Soham Ghosh

I like to think of myself as a bit of a dabbler. My journey’s been anything but a straight line and that’s exactly what makes it fun. Back in college I co-founded an event management company which quickly threw me out of my comfort zone. One day I’d be chatting with local business owners; the next I’d be negotiating with high-profile personalities. It was a crash course in real-world connections and chaos. Then in a classic "why not" move I packed my bags and moved to Ireland for a Master’s in Journalism. The degree? Sure I got that. But the real education came from the people and experiences that dragged me out of my shell and into the real world. In between all that I worked at fast-food joints and grocery stores to keep things moving. And you know what? Even those days taught me a ton—whether it was about journalism filmmaking marketing or how to tell a great story. No moment was wasted. From seeing my film screened at the 2016 Calcutta International Film Festival to scrubbing dishes on New Year's Eve at the local Chinese restaurant it’s safe to say my teenage and early adult years were... eventful. I’ve learned that the sum is always greater than the parts. So here I am with a wild mix of skills and experiences. Every job I do I do with the enthusiasm of running a store with the drive of scrubbing food off of a customer's plate with the finesse of writing a movie script and with the vigilance of running my own startup!
