Soham Roy is a Business Management Professional willing to learn and grow, while contributing towards solving business problems. He has an affinity towards leading from the front. He has pursued an MBA in MARKETING (2019-2021) from Universal Business School, Mumbai and Global Management Program in collaboration with Cardiff Met University, UK. He has graduated from the University of Calcutta with a degree of B.Com(H) in Accountancy and Finance. He has done his Summer Internship with 'The Digital Fellow' where he has learned the best practices of Digital Marketing and worked on the different projects. He is looking for opportunities in Sales, Marketing, Management, Business Development, Customer Experience & Management Consulting roles. He considers communication and convincing skills as his strengths. He is always ready to learn new skills and loves to gain knowledge about various aspects. He has a keen interest in debates, discussions, and public speaking. Is interested in Politics and World Affairs too. He loves to manage people, build teams, and work in teams. He enjoys leading from the front and take full ownership & responsibility of the team and the organization, he works for. He is a contributing-editor at 'The Honest Critique'(a media startup) where he contributes with daily explainers on current affairs & news of high importance. He also covers topics on- geopolitics and important world affairs. He is an active social worker. Currently, he is associated with two organizations- Helping Hand(HH, a govt registered NGO in Kolkata) and Rotaract Club of Universal Business School (RC UBS). He has been a member of HH since his school days, where he has contributed to several projects: Children Education, Fund Raising Activities, Donation & Distribution Drives, etc. He is the President of the Rotaract Club of Universal Business School(RC UBS), which comes under the patronage of Rotary Karjat, RID 3131. He has worked closely with RID 3131 and Rotary Karjat to get his club chartered under Rotary International. Under his presidency, the club of RC UBS has done projects like- Program on Women & Children Awareness, Blood Donation Camp, Orphanage Visits, Old Age Home Visits, Photography Competition, etc. He takes inspiration from Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and is always optimistic in his endeavors.
