I am a perpetually curious communications in search of meaningful things to do. Työskentelen myös suomeksi. I am especially useful in communication and PR positions in fields relating to my prior experience: the third sector and charities, recruitment agencies and HR, and the field of education. I'm a handy writer, producing good copy also under pressure and without inspiration. As a strategist, I know what your organisation should do to reach the people that matter. I also photograph, passionately. I explore what makes people tick and use my skills to enhance a sense of community. Finally, I know that everything that is done in communications should be done for a reason. Goals are <3, even when they need to be reviewed. My professional interests include: corporate/organisational responsibility, employer branding, measuring the effectiveness of communication, SEO content, social media listening, storytelling as a communicative device, and taking into account power relations in society and how learning about them can make for more inclusive communication.
