About Sojung P.

Hello, I am a postdoctoral researcher at Dept. of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, University of Delaware (UD). I am currently working with Prof. Arthi Jayaraman at UD to develop new polymer design rules that enable fascinating morphologies and properties. My expertise lies in computational chemistry using a combination of polymer theory and coarse-grained molecular dynamic simulations. I majored in polymer physics during my PhD and developed skills related to the mean-field theories of polymers. I have postdoctoral research experience at the University of Minnesota using my expertise in Self-Consistent Mean Field Theory (SCFT) to understand the self-assembly behaviors of block copolymers. From my research experience, I developed critical insights into block copolymer behavior and also strong computational skills for soft matter systems. I'm passionate about learning and performing research in polymer science and contributing to the development of next-generation materials.
