With over 16 years of experience in the banking industry, I am a passionate and driven Business Banking Manager at Zenith Bank, where I manage a portfolio of public sector customers and provide them with tailored solutions and services to meet their business objectives. I have an EMBA in Strategic Management Consultancy and a MA in Project Management, which enable me to apply analytical, strategic, and project management skills to optimize portfolio performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and generate new business opportunities. In my current role as a Business Banking Manager, I am responsible for optimizing portfolio potential by providing support to enable customers to produce effective lending applications, introducing appropriate solutions and services, and managing core internal and external stakeholder relationships. I am also responsible for meeting challenging sales and lead targets, which include business development activity, and providing customers with essential information and advice. Additionally, I successfully manage the resolution of all non-routine queries and complaints for my portfolio of customers and assist in developing team strategies and initiatives. Some of the skills that I use and demonstrate in this role are financial planning, business analysis, financial analysis, customer service, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving. I am proud of the achievements that I have contributed to, such as increasing the user retention rate by 25%, securing a large contract with a key public sector client, and facilitating a significant project that improved the efficiency and quality of the business banking operations.
