About Solana Campbell

As a child, I was entirely enthralled by the magic of storytelling. This manifested early on in a plethora of small-scale (and occasionally large-scale) drama productions. Often, I would write a script and convince my friends to perform it, all while under my direction. While most kids wanted the newest toys, I wanted antiques that could serve as props in my future productions. This passion continued throughout my high school years, with me taking any and every opportunity to organize visual storytelling. As my knowledge of film progressed, I discovered I could continue to pursue my passion for the rest of my life! What followed was an amazing Film Production internship at MarVista Entertainment. Getting the opportunity to work with other passionate, diversity-minded professionals in my industry got rid of any remaining qualms I might have had about working in Film for the rest of my life. Since MarVista, I pivoted to slightly more on-set opportunities, attempting to dip my toe in any experience possible. From working in the costume department for a major studio network television show to production on a smaller indie project, I have enjoyed every second of it. Waking up in the morning has never been easier!
