About Solina Alhamid

I'm a third-year Kinesiology student at Capilano University, working toward a career in rehabilitation and movement science. My goal is to become a Kinesiologist and maybe later a Physiotherapist, helping people move better, recover from injuries, and improve their overall quality of life. Through my studies, I’ve built a strong understanding of biomechanics, exercise physiology, and injury prevention. I enjoy learning about how the body moves and adapts, and I’m especially interested in how exercise and therapy can help people regain strength and mobility. While I have experience working with different groups in fitness and health settings, I’m eager to gain more hands-on experience in rehabilitation. As someone who was once a newcomer to Canada, I understand the challenges that come with adapting to a new environment. This has shaped my desire to work with people from all backgrounds, ensuring they feel supported in their health and wellness journeys.
