Hello, I am Solomon Cherla, A fervent believer of Zero Trust and an enthusiast for AI in Cyber Space which led me to have 15 years of passionate Cybersecurity Experience. In my current role as a Technical Program Manager at Amazon Web Services. I work closely with the AWS service engineering teams to initiate, plan, and lead large, complex initiatives from inception to execution to closure of security assurance programs. This involves working with cross functional teams such as Dev teams, Application Security, Sec-Ops, Crypto, Audit and other dependent teams to drive remediations and influence priorities by effective communication. As a ProServe Security Consultant for AWS customers and partners I have owned and driven projects and engagements involving the architecture, design, development and implementation of security infrastructure including cloud adoption, modernization and optimization. Also delivered projects like AWS security EPICS (Identity Access Mgmt, Detective Controls, Data Protection,Infra Security, Incident Response), proof-of-concepts, security assessments, review operational best practices and conducting workshops on AWS security services. As a Sr.Info Sec Engineer I have gained excellent hands-on experience and knowledge working in an enterprise-wide network and security solutions using Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco, AWS, Juniper Pulse Secure, Symantec Bluecoats, RSA Authentication Mgr, HP Tipping points, TUFIN, FireMon, BackBox, Indeni, WAF, WSS, ISE, Proxies, FirePower for IDS/IPS, NAT/PAT, ACL, 2-factor Authentication, Splunk and VPNs I have thorough understanding and knowledge of Security Concepts, Security Architecture, Threat Modeling and Secure Software Development Life Cycle to help with ambiguity and identify security solutions and gaps, while influencing decisions making by excellent effective communication with employees and stakeholders at all levels within the organization.
