I am Dr. Solomon Chiekezi Nwaneri, a dedicated Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Lagos, Nigeria with expertise in artificial intelligence, healthcare informatics, medical instrumentation and project management. My passion lies in pioneering cutting-edge, multidisciplinary research and innovation to advance medical technology and healthcare delivery. With a strong background in engineering, project management, and medical technology, I have done groundbreaking research in health informatics, AI-driven medical diagnostics, and optimization of healthcare processes. My research focus is on the development of smart medical devices, patient flow optimization, and data-driven AI solutions for disease prediction. What I Bring to the Table: Teaching, Research, Curriculum Development & Public Speaking Biomedical Device Innovation, ICT & AI Applications Optimization & Simulation of Healthcare Processes Project management & Health Technology Management Programming (Python, MATLAB, R) & Data Analytics As an active researcher and academic leader, I have published in high-impact journals, supervised postgraduate research, and contributed to shaping biomedical engineering education. I was the Chairman of the Curriculum Review Committee for the Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Lagos that recently developed the CCMAS for the undergraduate programme. I am also involved in university governance, serving as a Senate member and member of standing committees of the Senate. I am also the Postgraduate Coordinator for my Department.
