Trees for people • People for trees The year was 2009 I started off my venture into greenery and landscape inspired by a teacher in school who encouraged me to pursue my far-fetched dream of having my own farm on our land scarce island home. Years down the road, I don't have my own farm yet, but became an arborist with experience in advanced visual tree inspection and diagnostic risk assessment. This includes tree care and mitigation of tree risks in urban municipalities, parklands, and conserved natural settings. Love a good recreational tree climb and fortunate enough to perform tree access inspections as part of my work. Always eager to connect and nerd out with people around tree climbing gear/techniques, plants, trees, and biology in general. As a full time arborist and part-time science nerd, I am often philosophical, and always learning. Beyond technicalities of my craft, I am passionate about communicating stories and narratives to pass on the passion and interest in arboriculture and biology to open minds. This spans from formalised training settings, to casual chats over lunch. Also well-versed in planning and management of urban landscape, horticultural, and arboriculture operations, customer relations and feedback management for municipal issues in collaboration with public agencies and private stakeholders.
