About Solveig Barnes

Solveig Barnes, an aspiring Junior Interior Designer in the San Francisco Bay Area. She gains inspiration from implementing something old and established into something new and unique. Ms. Barnes has a passion for creativity and innovation, influenced by sustainability and ingenuity. Solveig received her B.A. in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University and is a proud alumni of the Urban Knights Women’s Soccer Team. She believes that sports and design share similar elements, such as: teamwork, communication, feedback, and follow through. As in sports, she works hard every day to meet client expectations and her ability to visualize in all dimensions brings a client’s dream to life. Solveig enjoys the rush of new experiences, especially in traveling. Whether it’s camping by the lake, backpacking through Europe, or hiking the Fjords of Norway, the thrill of exploring new horizons fuels her passion most.Ms. Barnes specializes in AutoCAD drafting and 3D modeling with a passion for curating spaces and event planning.
