Strategy Thinker | Emerging Technology Connoisseur | 🤖 Lover of All Things Automated By day, I serve as an Assistant Professor of Strategy & Innovation at the Amsterdam Business School – University of Amsterdam. By night (and sometimes in between), I write, advise, and help good ideas become better systems. I also lead the Amsterdam Digital Transformation Lab (ADTL) as Director — a vibrant initiative at the intersection of tech, society, and transformation, where we prototype the digital future in real time. My work is driven by one question: How can we design technological futures that are equitable, intelligent, and regenerative? My research focuses on four interlocking shifts: Realign Designing strategies for emerging technologies — from explainable AI in decision-making, to IoT and data ecosystems in agritech, to preparing organizations for the quantum era. Revise Innovating business models through cutting-edge tech: AI, blockchain, Web3, the metaverse, IoT, SpaceTech, and quantum computing. Reimagine Championing purpose-driven, responsible innovation. Rooted in inclusive, decolonial, and system-aware approaches to digital transformation and policy impact. Readjust Leading work on twin transitions — the digital and green shift — through EU-funded research (including HORIZON Europe) focused on strategic ecosystems and just transformation.
