About Somesh Poddar

The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” – Nelson Mandela I’ve transitioned from the stability of corporate finance and investment banking into the dynamic world of product, marketing, and operations management. Over the last 7+ years, I've taken on diverse leadership challenges across industries—building scalable processes, optimizing workflows, and delivering results in high-impact roles. I bring hands-on experience in: Product Management & Feature Development Marketing Operations & Campaign Execution Strategic Operations & Business Process Optimization Financial Planning & Budget Control Cross-Functional Team Leadership Project Management (Agile, Waterfall) Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management Earlier in my career, I worked in investment banking—developing deep financial insight, trust-based client relationships, and an appreciation for analytical rigor. I thrive in roles that require problem-solving, process innovation, and aligning cross-functional teams toward business goals. Whether launching a new product, streamlining operations, or scaling marketing efforts, I take a hands-on, ownership-driven approach. Outside of work, you’ll find me enjoying good music, experimenting in the kitchen, or taking long drives to recharge. Feel free to connect or reach out: someshpoddar@gmail.com
