About Sonali Chatterjee

With over 7 years of diverse professional experience in education, career advising, curriculum development, and student support, I bring a strong passion for helping individuals discover and achieve their potential. My journey began as a primary educator where I developed and delivered impactful learning strategies, collaborated with parents, and designed tailored career guidance tools for students at various learning levels. Building on this foundation, I expanded my global experience as an academic counselor and instructor at Whitehat Jr (now Byju’s Future School), where I provided one-on-one tutoring in math and coding to international students from countries including the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, and the Philippines. This role involved extensive training in cross-cultural communication, educational systems, and global career advising. Most recently, I completed two postgraduate certificate programs from Conestoga College in Canada—Career Development Professional certification and Human Resources Management certification, graduating with distinction in both. These programs equipped me with Canadian labor market knowledge, HR practices, and job development strategies. During my internship at Agilec, I provided career advising services to diverse clients, supporting them with resume development, job searching, and interview preparation. In addition to academic and advisory roles, I gained valuable customer-facing experience at Walmart Canada as a Self-Checkout Attendant and Trainer, which deepened my understanding of frontline operations and client service. With hands-on experience in career counseling, employee support, training, and educational program design, I am now actively seeking opportunities in Human Resources, Career Services, or Talent Development. I bring a unique combination of education expertise, career planning skills, and a people-first mindset to empower individuals and organizations alike.
