As the Director of Programs and Strategy at Innovate BC a crown service delivery organization dedicated to boosting British Columbia's economic prosperity through innovation-led programming I lead the strategy and programs that drive commercialization and technology adoption across the province. A key focus of my role is designing effective programs that align with our strategy and create the desired value for our stakeholders. I am committed to building robust stakeholder relationships conducting impactful program assessments and creating funding & capacity building opportunities that fosters the adoption and commercialization of domestic technology. Additionally I work to cultivate a performance-oriented growth culture within our team. With over 6 years of experience as an impact entrepreneur I co-founded Nugu a business specializing in sustainable micro-factories for premium homewares. This venture empowered marginalized craft communities in South Asia where I led global expansion fundraising business development and impact strategy. My efforts earned the Times She UnLtd Entrepreneur award in 2020 for creating high-paying jobs for over 150 equity-seeking craftspeople in rural India. My 12+ years in organizational learning and development have equipped me with expertise in Strategy Mapping Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Design Thinking and Systems Thinking. I excel in creating a learning culture within organizations leveraging logic models and theories of change to drive continuous improvement. Recognized for my thought leadership I am known for building relationships based on empathy and trust.
