About Sonia Ambreen

I am an academic-turned-entrepreneur on a mission to bridge the gap between knowledge and action in finance and policy. As a Co-Founder & Director at CorTIF (Centre of Research in Trading, Investment & Finance), I help design and deliver innovative, research-backed financial education and investment solutions for individuals, entrepreneurs, and institutions. Our vision is to democratize access to investment research and empower people—especially underrepresented groups—to take control of their financial futures. I bring over a decade of experience in teaching, research, and policy engagement—with a focus on gender, political inclusion, and economic empowerment. My PhD research centers on women’s political participation in Pakistan’s mainstream parties, and I apply these insights to promote inclusive finance, gender-aware investing, and equitable wealth creation strategies through CorTIF. Areas of Focus: • Investment research and public financial education • Financial inclusion for women and youth • Strategic communication and policy analysis • Thought leadership at the intersection of politics and finance Let’s collaborate to build a financially aware, empowered, and inclusive society.
