About Sonia Gibson

As a child I loved solving puzzles – particularly those that had anything to do with numbers, so I think it was inevitable that I became an Accountant.Throughout my professional career I have worked as a Partner with leading Sydney accountancy firms, including a BRW top 100 firm. I have had extensive experience assisting publicly listed companies right through to individuals and small businesses – each with their own set of challenges. Having been a Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor for over 20 years, I became frustrated with the limitations of traditional accounting firms. I saw the need for a different approach to financial matters that incorporates both the head and the heart, particularly in situations where life and finances collide. Establishing Accounting Heart has given me the perfect way to combine my love of all things numbers with my passion for helping others.I'm passionate about supporting business owners to get their business foundations right, especially in the early years, and then working with them as they navigate the different stages of growth. Every business is unique, which is what makes my work so interesting and varied.I regularly write for my business blog and for leading business publications - you can find out more in the Experience and Publications sections of my profile.I also love speaking and appear regularly at business conferences and seminars, webinars and LINKS Accounting Heart website: https://accountingheart.com.au🧰 FREE business resources and downloads: https://accountingheart.com.au/resources⌨ My blog: https://accountingheart.com.au/blog Guest writer articles and podcast episodes: https://accountingheart.com.au/media Book a professional consultation with me: https://accountingheart.com.au/book-professional-consultation Call me or send me an email: https://accountingheart.com.au/contact
