Commercially astute and highly experienced executive with global commercialisation experience. I am a strategist with a laser focus on delivering value for the customer and business. As a member of the Illumina executive leadership team, I have operated in fast-paced, flat structures scaling the organisation to grow from $50M to $300M, in both open and regulated markets across Asia Pacific. I create and deliver the vision, research, analysis and action plan necessary to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace. I have a strong entrepreneurial mindset that enables me to spot patterns, market drivers and opportunities. The projects I led or participated in include; Strategic Planning, Digital Transformation and Marketing 2020, a global transformation of the marketing ecosystem, to increase transparency and efficiency, become digital marketing first, as well the ability to scale and execute at pace while measuring Return on Investment. I enjoy the challenge of creating or opening new markets, leveraging beach head sites to drive awareness, education and accelerate adoption. Collaborating with strategic stakeholders such as, key opinion leaders, institutes and governments on the delivery of national scale initiatives. I utilise my innate knowledge in combination with compelling data to be a strong decision maker with a keen ability to decide what not to do, in order to deliver greater focus and ROI. I am laser focused on delivering a unified customer experience, through customer journey mapping to build integrated sales and marketing programs, delivering value to both the customer and the company. I ran virtual teams located in Australia, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo, scaling from 6 to 32 heads, while maintaining the culture and values of the organisation.
