I have continuously evolved my roles and responsibilities which now include oversight and accountability for GlobalData-MEED Communities and Marketing Solutions activities and the departments delivering them across MENA and APAC. Since moving to the UAE in 2015 I have learned to build professional communities both for MEED and on behalf of my clients. I have worked in partnership with local and multinational, private and public sector organizations to deliver solutions for their marketing, communications and business development goals. As the capabilities of GlobalData-MEED have evolved we have moved into the sales and delivery of advanced marketing solutions that combine smart technology, bespoke content, data and access to B2B audiences. Our end-to-end approach allows us to work in partnership with customers through all stages of the marketing acquisition strategy: prospecting, storytelling, AI driven targeting, engagement and lead generation. My experience is dominated by sales. I retain my passion for client facing activity and selling. I personally manage key accounts for our marketing solutions products. I have a strong track record of success turning around sales teams in the UK and media teams in the UAE. I have overseen multiple product revolutions and possess 7 years’ experience in strategic and operational business development in the UAE. This has necessarily required management of internal structural and cultural change. I am innovative and have a creative personality as is evidenced by my product development and launches for EMAP UK, MEED and GlobalData. Success in my most recent roles has been helped by my well-honed set of change management skills. My skill set is varied as required by the diversity of my role however if asked what defines my ability to maintain high performance both for myself and culturally across my teams it is my ability to lead and influence.
