About Sonia Ponzo

I’m Sonia Ponzo, Founder and CEO of Outset Wellness - an ADHD-friendly platform for people who want to stay active but struggle to make exercise fit into their chaotic lives. With a background in psychology and over a decade in digital health, I’ve spent my career turning behavioural science into practical tools that actually work in the real world. Outset is my answer to a problem I know deeply: when you want to move because you know it’ll help your brain shut up - but your brain and your schedule keep getting in the way. Outset syncs to your calendar and adapts to the weather to plan activities around your day - because when you’re dealing with time blindness or decision fatigue, figuring out when to move and what to do can be harder than the movement itself. And when executive dysfunction makes acting more challenging, a growing plant gives you a quiet sense of progress, while the option to connect with a friend offers gentle accountability - so you’re not doing it alone, and you don’t have to rely on motivation to get going. Before founding Outset, I held senior leadership roles at Huma, Flo Health, and Healios, and I’ve authored 30+ scientific publications on behaviour change, prevention, and the mind-body connection. I also advise start-ups building health tech that’s evidence-based and human-first.
