Background in advertising, communications and social impact An accomplished communications expert with an extensive career spanning both public and commercial sectors. I started my career in the world of Current Affairs at the BBC, then pivoted to advertising, initially at Saatchi & Saatchi then on to other prominent agencies. I managed a diverse portfolio of brands and government communications, as well as teams, and became the first person of colour to be appointed to the Board of a major advertising agency, before setting up my own social impact consultancy, which is what led me to Purpose.
