Currently working towards a master's degree in Social Work to become a Mental Health Therapist specializing in substance use and addictions with Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). An experienced cross-cultural communicator based in Manhattan who interprets for negotiations, business meetings, and events. A native English speaker fluent in French, receiving a BBA in the US and an MBA in International Business from a prestigious university in France. My background is multinational: American - Chilean - French. A strong passion in helping international businesses succeed in the US through effective communications—especially in high-pressure, face-to-face contexts. After 10+ years managing and training the national sales forces of international beauty brands, I spent 5 years in business development. In 2016, I launched a French manufacturer's American brand, sourcing and closing a six-figure contract with the industry's largest distributor in the US. In 2018, I began an independent career as an interpreter and a manufacturer's representative in order to serve multiple clients simultaneously. I am a member of the American Translators' Association (ATA) and hold a Certificate in Medical Interpretation from Hunter College, NY.
