About Sonja Berger

Currently, I am a first year MBA student at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. With Samsung Austin Semiconductor: I was at the Samsung foundry in Austin Texas. my role was a cost engineer, and I focused on raw material usage reduction for each step of the semiconductor wafer production process. With Nestlé Purina: I was the Manufacturing Excellence Specialist at the Nestlé Purina Atlanta plant. My responsibilities included accelerating the factory's transformation progression through the total productive maintenance operations system; specifically, I promoted the implementation of standard routine adherence for operators, maintenance, and the rest of the factory team. I also led digital transformation efforts by integrating automated reporting visuals into the day to day operations, by targeting major waste areas (with data), and working with the team to complete these waste reduction efforts. With HP: I was working as a personal systems strategic quality program manager with HP Inc focusing on data and analytics. At a global level, I was structuring many different diverse data sets to provide data visuals- in order to create actionable insights for the overall Personal System Quality strategy. One of my focuses was structuring and correlating customer experience data to drive the development and delivery of meaningful personal system experiences. I have experience with Third Level Support in retail point of sales, and customer experience on the HP's Manageability Software. I graduated from Michigan State University in May 18', and my Senior Capstone was working with autonomous vehicles and machine learning,(specifically with image processing).
