I have worked as an administrative assistant for 15 years. I have worked in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook in data entry, proofing/editing documents, made calendars with various groups and assisted with presentations for meetings. Set up meetings for executive managers, departmental managers and teams. I also became savvy in zoom giving helpful tips, tricks and how to's in improving the team members knowledge in zoom software. Also responsible for timekeeping and vacation quotas within groups. Setup access for new hires on boarding, requested access for activating/deactivating employees badges, visitors campus access. Made catering orders for luncheons, large meetings as well as off campus celebrations. Negotiated contracts for such off campus celebrations, meetings and hotel contracts for employee stays for conferences. Worked with travel agents on airline, hotel and car rental reservations as well as booking them myself.
