About Sonja Eser

Sonja Eser has been working as experienced Circular Design Consultant since 2010. She supports companies, including global players, administrations and organizations in implementing circular economy. As a biologist, it is important to her to advance innovation for a sustainable future. This includes the support of innovation teams as well as advice and workshops to develop skills to shape a sustainable future. Since 2010 she is a lecturer for Circular Design at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg. She founded and directed the EPEA Academy in Munich from 2010-2012 and developed training programmes to teach the Cradle to Cradle design concept. She developed one of the first realised family homes inspired by Cradle to Cradle (entry as a pioneer project into the Cradle to Cradle House Registry, She is trained as a Cradle to Cradle Design Consultant and a very well recognized trainers for this concept in Europe. Editor of "Circular Design in Practice", consulting for the Circular Economy department at Museum Futurium, Berlin, 2018-2019. Committee chair of the DIN mirror committee Nagus A20 for circular economy, intensive standardization work for the development of the ISO standard series for Circular Economy in ISO/TC323, intensive participation in the EN standard 45560 on Circular Design in CEN-CLC/JTC10.
