About Sonja Mazon

With an official title of Project Manager, or leader of a Project Management team, the more clear descriptions of my line of work are "sieve","protector of resources", and a "lioness". I have 8+ years of experience acting as a go-between for the technical/IT team and those who would request their time and energy. With over 300+ scopes formally and informally written, I have a fundamental understanding of the need for efficiency, resource-planning, and collaborative work. I have worked on and managed successful cross-functional teams for products in the mortgage and banking industry, retail, and healthcare, resulting in yearly revenues of over 1 million USD. At a time of great upheaval with the COVID-19 pandemic, my cross-functional partnership with IT directly resulted in the successful transition of a previously 100% in-person product to a remote alternative that remains a viable option. My passion comes from identifying problems before they become crises, and giving people fixes before they ask for them.
