About Sonja McGuff

I am an IT Professional with strong operational skills and people management built from navigating complex challenges and juggling multiple projects spanning applications, operation and service management delivery. My personal management philosophy is to encourage, support and enable each one of my team to reach their full potential and personal objectives. I truly believe that this strategy empowers and enables the individual to be self-managing and self-aware and this creates powerful, confident and positive teams of people that achieve outstanding results for themselves, their colleagues and the business. Lessons I've learnt along the way- I don’t care who gets credit. I just want to succeed - Finding a long term solution is much better than just solving the problem but both strategies have their place - Asking questions doesn’t make you look stupid. Curiosity should be on everyones ‘must have’ lists - Be agile. Technology changes too quickly not to be an expert at adapting - Share knowledge don’t hoard it. It’s vital to business growth and means you can go on holiday without internet coverage Happy to make new connections. Reach out if you want to talk technology, people management, business or Tarantino movies Specialties: Leadership and Team Management, IT Operations Management, IT Applications Management, Project Delivery, Stakekholder Management, IT Service Management
