About Sonja Tuomenvirta

I do like Mondays. Yeah, you got that right. I love to come to work on mornings. Wondering what new I can learn today to improve my skillset, or what can I do to help my coworkers, customers, etc. day to do a bit better. I love fast pace, quick decisions and the feeling I get after a busy day when I get to check things off my to-do-list. I find it important to be a part of a community and I get energized by the people around me. They are the strongest influencers for me in everyday life. Do I show my passion only at work? Definitely not. I use lot of my free time training and teaching Martial Arts. I found them in my teen years and was immediately taken by them. To gain more and more knowledge, I have tried different types of Martial Arts and now mainly train Ju-Jutsu and Kombatan. But it’s fun to notice that no matter what you train they all have a very similar core. It does not matter if you are empty handed or if they have stick. But yeah, that is a great way to spent time, focus and an amazing way to release stress. Besides training myself, I teach at two gyms, both children and adults. It has been great to see my students pass new exams and to really see them progress, and with my help. It is heartwarming
