With over 27 years of experience in the healthcare industry, I am a Lead Medical Technologist at Atrium Health, a leading provider of health services in the Southeast. I specialize in clinical laboratory science, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the test results and reports that support the diagnosis and treatment of patients. I also lead and develop a team of medical technologists and technicians, fostering a culture of allyship, collaboration, and continuous learning. I am passionate about coaching and mentoring my team members, setting and tracking their goals, and providing them with feedback and recognition. Additionally, I earned my Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I expanded my knowledge and skills in healthcare management, policy, and innovation.
