About Sonya Flaherty

I have been fortunate to work for 2 amazing companies for most of my career. Working at American Express for 12 years as an analyst and manager in the International Risk Management division allowed me to hone my skills in analytics, cross team collaboration, international travel, highly complex projects, time and project management, lending underwriting, platform infrastructure and relationship management. I worked with some of the brightest minds in the industry allowing me to learn from the very best. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment working with such top-notch teams, leaders and colleagues at American Express. After 12 years with American Express my passion for performing and singing brought me to Entertainment Events, Inc.(EEI). First, as a performer, then a production manager, director, writer and finally the COO. Working with EEI has allowed me to use my analytic and creative sides simultaneously and it is glorious! I pull from my years of experience to oversee all aspects of the business from acquiring product, setting budgets, building financial models, creating sales strategies and analyzing company data. The bonus is I get to step on stage from time to time too!
