Life has been great! Born and bred in the Hair & Beauty industry, I've been blessed with a career that lead me to business management.Owning and operating several franchises, I developed a strong focus on customer service, team building with an emphasis on inclusion, and administrative processes such as HR and recruitment. My experience in visual merchandising and managing high-end retail concept stores for both national and international companies has been incredibly rewarding.Before entering retail, I completed a Diploma in Professional Counseling and had successful journey in the Weight Loss industry. Supporting and encouraging clients through their health and well-being journeys was immensely rewarding, knowing the positive and lasting impact it had on their lives.My passion for health, nutrition, and exercise empowered me to assist clients in achieving their goals. During this time, also had the privilege of mentoring and coaching teams in various organisations, focusing on mindfulness strategies and conflict resolution using a gentle, holistic approach.The life skills I shared have been invaluable to these clients. Recently, my last position provided significant exposure to the Accounting realm. As an administrative member, I took on a bookkeeping role using Xero and later became an Executive Assistant to the Director. This journey was diverse and exciting, involving event planning, well-being days, HR recruitment and payroll, liaising with investors, and incorporating a charity. Networking and onboarding charities for the accounting community were highlights of this role.With all these exciting twists and turns in the business world, I feel it's time to go solo and share my knowledge and experience wherever these heels take me.
