About Sophan Buffa

Family and faith are at the center of everything I do. With over 16 years of experience in education working with students with disabilities and extensive experience in home care management as the former owner of a non-medical home care company in Grosse Pointe, I bring compassion, expertise, and understanding to every family I serve. As the co-founder of Motor City Mitten Mission, a nonprofit supporting the homeless throughout Metro Detroit, I’m dedicated to making a positive impact in my community by providing meals, outreach, and handmade mats and pillows created from recycled plastic bags. Fluent in two languages and known for being professional, adaptable, and people-focused, I’m excited to bring my heart and experience to my role as the new Owner of Assisted Living Locators, helping families find the perfect place for their loved ones to call home.
