Hi, I’m Sophie! I am a graduate of the MSc Digital Management program at Ivey Business School and a proud Winnipegger excited to be back home after my time in London, Ontario. I’ve returned to the University of Manitoba Students’ Union (UMSU), where I’m continuing my work in strategy, policy, and advocacy. Before Ivey, I earned my degree from the Faculty of Arts at the University of Manitoba, where I developed my skills in writing, analysis, and presentation. My research centered on my passion: the power of storytelling. Stories have shaped human connection for centuries, building empathy and uniting people toward common causes. My unique background as a storyteller, performer, and strategist allows me to approach business challenges creatively—helping organizations craft compelling narratives, drive strategy, and stand out in meaningful ways. In my free time, you can find me making music and consuming any kind of art in my vicinity (but theatre will always be my favorite)!
