About Sophie Linnane

I’m passionate about community, connection, and making a real impact. With a background in history, politics, and social justice, I’ve always been drawn to work that brings people together and drives positive change. I studied History and Political Studies (with a minor in Social Justice) before earning a Master’s in Global Conflict from Leiden University, where I explored international politics and humanitarian work. Now, I put that passion into action in Community Fundraising & Events at the Irish Red Cross 🤝, working with communities to support vital humanitarian efforts. Outside of that, I stay involved in the swimming world ‍—something I’ve loved for years and still enjoy coaching. From nonprofits to recruitment, education, and sport, I thrive in roles where I can connect with people, build relationships, and help create something meaningful.
