About Sophie Richards

A confident and personable professional, I love to build relationships and watch cool business (and life) outcomes flow from them. Having turned my hand at various roles I consider myself adaptable and quick to learn. I am impassioned by learning new things, meeting new people and having new experiences. After graduating from King’s College London with a History degree under my belt, I set off on my one-woman mission to see as much of the world as I could. Since 2014, when my backpack (and my heart) landed in Melbourne, I haven’t looked back. Scooped up by the Kinexus family, I spent nearly four years as a Recruitment Consultant within defence industry in Australia. As part of the Melbourne team, we worked hard, had fun and achieved some really awesome things. As with so much of the world, 2020 brought a time for change and for me that meant joining the Projects and Marketing team here at Kinexus. A key part of a small and dynamic team, I look after all things from content creation to sales support, analytics to social media. Skills include: relationship management, sales, inbound marketing, social media, content creation, spelling and grammar. You’ll be surprised by: my (rugby) ball skills. I’m always happy for a chat.
