About Sophie Silvermintz

I am an intellectually curious, open-minded, honest, and creative student attending the University of Maryland. I am studying Hearing and Speech Sciences within UMD’s College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. I am also pursuing a minor in Human Development through the University's College of Education. As a participant in the College Park Scholars living-and-learning program, I earned a citation in Public Leadership. My extensive experience working with a diverse range of students, my involvement in both marketing and consulting programs on campus, and my ability to learn quickly have left me capable of tackling any challenge thrown my way. I look forward to putting my skills, passions, and abilities to the test in my future work in the Communicative Disorders space.
