Background
About Sophy Kurian
With a certified background in crisis management and a firm grip on emergency preparedness, my role at Air Arabia focuses on advancing the organization's resilience. We ensure operational continuity through meticulous emergency planning and response, leveraging my expertise developed over 17+ years in aviation crisis management. Previously at Emirates, my achievements included raising the bar on building emergency and crisis management processes that empowered our teams to navigate crises effectively—fostering collaboration, enhancing stakeholder communication, and ensuring rigorous compliance with aviation accident response legislation. These competencies are the bedrock upon which I build robust crisis management frameworks and train senior management, ensuring preparedness is not just a plan, but a culture.
