I am an accomplished IT professional with a proven track record in managing and optimizing technology operations. Currently, I serve as the Head of IT System & Network Infrastructure at Vardinoyannis Group – Konkat S.A. in Athens, Greece. In this role, I've led various strategic initiatives, including Disaster Recovery planning, infrastructure renewal, and security enhancements. I have experience in aligning technology with business goals and have driven the architectural design of IT solutions. Additionally, I've optimized IT operations, introduced Service Desk software, and improved support processes. My expertise extends to enhancing security, implementing multi-factor authentication, and fortifying data protection. Prior to this, I worked as a Systems & Networks Engineer, where I migrated mail flow to cloud providers, virtualized legacy servers, and upgraded virtualization hosts. I also played a part in designing new Datacenter structures. My earlier experience as an IT Systems Administrator equipped me with skills in resolving technical issues, ensuring software license compliance, and implementing wireless security policies.
