About Soumya Somal

A curious girl from the City of Dreams, Mumbai, I have had the opportunity to learn from the sea, waves, sunset, sky, ten thousand restaurants, five thousand temples, shrines, churches, and mosques, people, festivals, terror attacks, rains, floods, traffic, cricket, Bollywood, fantastic food, local trains, and 'dabbawalas'(the tiffin service). And from all of them, I have learned one thing 'Bhaiyya Hustle Karo, Bhasad Nahi'('Brother, Don't be a ruckus, Just keep Hustling')As much as I’m into data manipulation, it’s the analysis of data that gets me going. In the age of big data, these stories become actionable solutions and strategies for businesses, and I take pride in my ability to make data accessible to both executive decision-makers and frontline sales staff. On a personal level, I am detail-oriented, organized, and precise in my work; the only thing cleaner than my room are my spreadsheets. I have strong communication skills with a knack for clear and illuminating presentations. I’m comfortable on my own facing the numbers, but I enjoy being a part of a motivated team of smart people. Additionally, I am enthusiastic about analyzing market research as I have an eye for consumer behavior. While I am not doing any of the above things, you will find me either reading a book in a corner, dancing like no one's watching, or away on an adventure!
