About Sourav Bhanja

With over 20 years of global management experience in strategy, planning, and consulting in the ICT field, Sourav is a senior executive who leads the regional consulting practice for the Middle East & Africa region at IDC, a global ICT research and consulting firm. He is an MBA graduate from India's top business school and has completed a leadership program at Harvard Business School. Sourav has driven multiple strategic engagements for market entry strategy, growth strategy, go-to-market initiatives, competitive strategy, and digital marketing for the region's tier-1 telecommunication, IT services, and software organizations. He has also advised CXOs, regional heads, and country managers in 50+ large global and regional projects. Additionally, Sourav engages deeply with the region's ICT ministries and regulators and has been the architect for several National ICT Sector Development Programs for the MENA region. As an entrepreneurial and high-performing professional, he focuses on practice building, client satisfaction, people development, and organizational collaboration. His strengths come from having a broad understanding of the market dynamics, breadth of experience in different areas of consulting and strategy, and experience with large MNC organizations in multi-cultural networked organizations.
