About Sourav Samaddar

I am Sourav a pampered second child of my parents, as the meaning of my name refers to smell rather an aroma that evokes curiosity which is derived from my character. I have been seeking knowledge all my life, I was good at general knowledge, and later on the geek inside me took over my interest when the boy inside me back in early 2010 decided to come into the animation industry. I am highly driven at storytelling and currently, I'm keeping pace with the uses of latest-gen AI to narrate modern-day stories. I started my career as a VFX artist and FX simulator but my keen interest was in motion graphics, earlier in my learning path I faced a lot of criticism for my interest in motion graphics as the role of FX artist was considered a lot superior and I was good at it. I started FX simulation in Ray Fire and Real Flow with Autodesk 3ds max but needless I was drawn towards Houdini somehow Motion Graphics was my way to go. I believe in equality and love to interact with people, engaging with projects and knowing different people has always been a great opportunity for me to grow. My Goal is to keep flying without falling since I started believing there is no word known as failing but "Learning".
